Our client is a leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh fruit, based in North West Victoria.  They have a great reputation for producing high-quality fruit into domestic and export markets and leading best practice and innovation in their industry.

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the supply chain between orchard, factory, dispatch and external transport within the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage fruit flow and internal transfers between orchards and factory including managing supply of fruit bins and accuracy of factory receival
• Take responsibility for managing the timely sourcing of supply inputs within the factory
• Co-ordinating the fulfilment function in the factory including dispatch
• Manage external transport from factory to customers

Education / Experience / Skills

• 5 years logistics and or supply chain experience
• Strong understanding of factory processes
• Driver licence
• High performance and positive attitude
• Team player
• Respectful attitude to management, all staff, and all external suppliers
• Ability to work under pressure
• Organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
