About the role

The Pest and Disease Supervisor/Co-Ordinator is responsible for all things spray program and pest scouting related. Sound management and planning skills are key attributes for the candidate success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, Maintain, repair and use all spaying plant and equipment
• Test spray volumes and ensure that pH buffering, chemical application into tank is all completed to the correct standard
• Inspect and track spray volumes while sprayer operating
• Oversee, train and check spray operators and all spraying activities
• Review current standards and finalise all spraying related SOP’s
• Chemical sheds organisation – inspected every fortnight / stock takes each month.
• Manage inputs stock
• Maintain communications lines with Wood Wood and Boga spray operators
• Spray program management
• Pest scouting

Education / Experience / Skills

• Chemical handling course
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literate
• Full time working rights
• Farm experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Autonomous worker and good team leader
