About the role
Lead a sales team to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote products that will strengthen their businesses. Responsible for Retail Operations within the Branch to meet and exceed targets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor rural products results in line with key performance indicators and expenditure.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, to achieve sales & earnings targets
- Leading a sales team to achieve targets
- Manage team performance including any underperformance and support the development of direct reports
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Health & Safety Policy, procedures and legislation. Take reasonable care for own health & safety, as well as that of others.
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
- Degree in business, agriculture (desirable, or demonstrated experience)
- Sales Training and Leadership Development Program (training provided)
- Driver’s licence and driver’s training course (training provided)
- FSRA Tier 2 (training provided)
- Several years experience in the agricultural industry, including several years as a Product / Sales Manager
