About the Company
Our client is a leading international specialist in plant & soil bio-stimulants, seed dressing treatments, plant specialty nutrition and rodenticides.
About the role
As part of the company’s strategy to grow its specialty nutrition business in Australia they are seeking an experienced Regional State Sales Manager who can join a dynamic team to develop this exciting strategic area of the company.
Reporting to the Business Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for sales-related activities with a goal to grow the business rapidly through alliances with key retailers.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement a sales & marketing action plan for your region
- Portfolio and Category Management responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Provide technical, marketing and sales support
- Provide technical assistance to agronomists as well as growers
- Participate to field days, seminars and training activities
- Travel extensively throughout your Area to proactively grow the business
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
You will possess proven sales experience in a similar role and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously accompanied by excellent customer service, interpersonal and negotiation skills. A degree or diploma associated within the Agribusiness, Agriculture, Horticulture or Viticulture faculties would be desirable but not essential.
