About the Company
Our Client is a family-owned business operating from Western Australia since 2009, manufacturing rock crushing solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by Australia’s agricultural, transport, civil and mining industries
About the role
Our client is now seeking a National BDM & Sales Manager to work with the team to develop and implement a commercially astute sales strategy and plan to increasing sales nationally with a key focus in the eastern states.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a commercially astute sales strategy and plan to deliver on service, volume, margin, and profit targets
• To maximise return on marketing strategies by working with 3rd party marketing partners to develop and enhance marketing and sales material
• Identify sales, service, customer, and market trends to respond to opportunities and risks
• Providing post sales servicing of existing clients to include start-up and follow-up as a key deliverable
• Collaborate with a diverse group of external customers, influencing others to enable business improvements and facilitate innovative customer solutions.
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
• Experience within the rural industry an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of commercial machinery sales environments or relevant field.
• Technically adept with a good understanding of pathways to market in Australian agriculture. mining, and civil industries experience considered
• Proven track record of business development with a demonstrated history of building leads, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
• Exceptional commercial acumen and analysis skills, including understanding pricing, margins and their impact on profitability
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including creating and presenting data in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent knowledge of sales operations and CRM
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, including strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Availability to travel
