Our client, one of Australia’s leading broad acre seed breeding companies is seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Territory Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Manager you will be primarily responsible for sales and marketing of the company’s variety portfolio. Further responsibilities will include:
• Manage the sales and marketing activities of wheat, barley and oat varieties across the region to increase brand awareness and variety adoption
• Building strong relationships with advisors, current and potential growers, industry influencers, grower groups and distribution partners
• Oversee the release of new varieties including launching and efficient distribution through partners
• Facilitate research and development opportunities to improve/sustain market share of varieties
• Identify and develop partnership and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness
• Manage seed and market development production crops where required
• Representing company at relevant industry events such as field days and conferences
• Regularly completing business forecast projections
• Assessment, analysis and reporting of accurate market intelligence

You will be self-motivated, reliable, capable of working unsupervised with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of broad-acre cropping systems and the capacity to negotiate at all levels of the supply chain are essential.

You will have a successful and proven track record in a relevant position and have the ability to drive and take ownership of the business territory.
