About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Workshop & Operations Supervisor to oversee our operations and ensure efficiency in our projects and workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks related to workshop management, customer communication, and safety compliance, while leading a team to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
• Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks including purchasing, purchase orders, invoice approvals, and WHS documentation.
• Site Visits: to monitor operations and address any issues.
• Load Lists: Organise and manage load lists for efficient deliveries.
• Warranty and Repairs: Coordinate warranty claims and manage repair processes.
• Customer Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with customers regarding their needs and concerns.
• Safety Meetings: Organize and lead safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
• Delivery Organization: Arrange and manage the delivery of parts and supplies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and registration of company vehicles & Plant and Equipment.
• Quality Assurance Controls: Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures.
• Team Leadership: Supervise apprenticeship programs and guide apprentices and team members.
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience in workshop environments & Maintenance.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• -Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
