Creating value by providing innovative knowledge extension and technical services for our client and their customers.
Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)
• Input to campaign development of local sales tools and promotional material for commercial offers
• Be a key contributor to the process of defining, preparing and implementing product strategies in consultation with marketing, product evaluation, sales teams and Portfolio Leadership Teams.
• Produce and deliver innovative technical product training and demand creation activities for staff, key channel partners and the wider industry
• Co-ordinate, implement, extend and review market support trials, new product evaluation trials and commercial demonstration programmes
• Write, review and approval of technical product promotional literature for use internally and externally
• Provide technical support and extension for a designated crop segment / product range
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
• Degree qualification in a relevant agricultural science or science discipline
• Broad knowledge of Australian agriculture, agronomy, crop production techniques and in particular, crop protection chemicals
• Ability to interpret and present technical material into clear compelling and commercially relevant messages
• Have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in crop protection, agronomy and extension.
• Experience in crop protection product development, sales or marketing or extension experience in fields such as entomology, plant pathology or weed science
