Based in the small rural town of Varley, Western Australia (420 km from Perth), VAS serve the Wheatbelt region’s Lakes area as a trusted agricultural supplier, general store, and community postal agency. VAS are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in the following roles:

GENERAL MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage chemical budgets and procurement
• Oversee customer relations, service, and delivery
• Provide technical advice and product information
• Act as the Responsible Liquor Management and Procurement Approved Manager
• Supervise accounts, payments, and trading terms
• Maintain and service plant and machinery
• Perform yard maintenance
• Manage warehouse operations and ensure accreditation compliance
• Ensure AGSAFE accreditation and safety compliance
• Hold (or have the ability to obtain) HR and Dangerous Goods Licences (advantageous)
• Operate a forklift (Forklift Licence required)

Package Includes:
• Remuneration based on experience

SHOP MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage debtors and creditors
• Handle ordering of groceries and basic hardware
• Conduct product costing and pricing
• Provide exceptional customer service and negotiation
• Maintain and clean the shop and building premises
• Oversee general yard upkeep
• Operate a forklift (Forklift Licence required)
• Manage postal services
• Serve as the Responsible Liquor Management and Procurement Approved Manager
