Our client is a 15,500Ha farming enterprise located near Murrayville, VIC. The farm utilises latest technology, farming practices and John Deer equipment.

About the role

Our client is seeking experienced Farm Hands to join their team in a full-time capacity. Based near Murrayville, Vic, the successful applicants will contribute to their integrated farming operations.

Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)

• Operate tractors, planters, sprayers, and harvesters for sowing, spraying, and harvesting crops.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery.
• Apply agricultural chemicals safely and in accordance with relevant compliance protocols.
• Assist with general farm machinery & infrastructure maintenance
• Maintain accurate records where required
• Other duties as required

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of experience in broadacre cropping
• Strong competency in farm machinery operations and field work
• ChemCert or AgSafe chemical handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Sound mechanical knowledge for basic fault-finding and servicing
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team under seasonal pressures
• Current Driver’s Licence required. Heavy Vehicle Licence (HC)
• Willingness to work extended hours including weekends and early starts during peak periods.
