Our client is a highly respected international organisation operating within the agricultural and manufacturing sectors. With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability and operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Financial Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager but working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and taxation obligations while supporting business improvement and finance transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on senior accounting role offering significant exposure across financial reporting, inventory accounting, compliance and corporate finance within a multinational business.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare statutory financial statements, taxation and compliance reporting
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger integrity and cashflow reporting
• Support inventory accounting, audits and internal controls
• Assist with finance transformation, ERP enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors and external advisors

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills
• CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior financial accounting position
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation legislation
• Experience with ERP and financial consolidation systems (HFM or similar)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical capability
• Previous experience within manufacturing, inventory accounting or FMCG will be highly regarded
