Our client is an independent agricultural co-operative based in the Ord River Irrigation Area, Kununurra, Western Australia. 

About the role

Our client is looking for a Fertiliser Operator who takes pride in getting every blend right, every time. This isn’t just “driving a loader.” You’ll be mixing and loading fertiliser blends straight from batch sheets, so accuracy, focus and a head for numbers matter as much as your ticket. When the yard’s quiet, you’re the type who grabs the broom and finds the next job — no one needs to tell you twice.

Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)

• Mixing and loading fertiliser blends to order, using loaders, forklifts, batch blending units and overhead bins
• Loading bulk tippers, bulka bags and flat decks, and delivering via the company semi
• Keeping stock clean, dry, accurately recorded and ready to go.
• Receiving incoming product and coordinating with admin and the Foreman
• Pitching in on yard, safety and maintenance tasks as needed — including occasional work at Wyndham and outside normal hours during peak season

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Forklift ticket, heavy equipment operating experience and a truck licence — essential
• Solid OH&S/WHS know-how
• Literacy and numeracy sharp enough to mix from a batch sheet without error
• Attention to detail, focus, and the ability to work autonomously.
• White Card and dogging ticket — a bonus, not a must
