We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Pack Shed Manager to take full responsibility for managing our large-scale potato packing facility.
About the role

• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement initiatives to boost throughput and reduce waste.
• Oversee food safety and quality assurance programs (HACCP, Freshcare, GlobalGAP).
• Monitor key operational metrics (throughput, downtime, yield) and provide detailed reporting to management.
• Manage packaging inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all plant and equipment are operating effectively.
• Champion a culture of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) excellence and compliance.
• Identify and adopt emerging technologies to enhance productivity and traceability.

• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
