About the Role
The Livestock Production Specialist delivers on-farm livestock production advice, builds strong client relationships, and supports sales growth across the region. The role offers significant flexibility and suits candidates from livestock agronomy, ag science, veterinary, or practical farming backgrounds. A key focus is mentoring the Livestock & Pasture Agronomist, ensuring consistent advisory standards and supporting the Field Services team.

Main Responsibilities (must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)
• Provide practical livestock production advice and maintain strong client engagement
• Grow market presence and support regional livestock development initiatives
• Mentor the Livestock & Pasture Agronomist to build technical capability and confidence
• Work with store teams to ensure product alignment with client needs
• Stay current with livestock production practices and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills
• Background in livestock agronomy, veterinary science, agricultural science or livestock farming
• Strong knowledge of animal production systems for sheep and cattle
• Demonstrated communication and client relationship skills
• Proven ability to mentor others and contribute to a collaborative team culture
