About the role

The Territory Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and success within a designated sales geography. This position is responsible for the comprehensive management of operations in the assigned territory, with a primary focus on achieving and exceeding sales objectives while ensuring profitable growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Meet territory sales targets and agreed performance KPIs
• Effectively prioritise retail customers using customer segmentation strategies
• Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with key customers
• Develop accurate bottom-up regional forecasts through territory analysis
• Analyse territory crop dynamics to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent of 5 years’ pertinent professional experience
• Avcare accreditation
• In-depth knowledge of crop protection products and their applications
• Demonstrated skills in Key Account Management
• Detailed understanding of various crop types and their specific protection needs. This will be determined by the crop needs of the sales territory.
• Comprehensive insight into the broader agricultural industry, including current challenges and opportunities.
