About the Company

Topfield Farms Pty Ltd operates a significant irrigated potato production enterprise across the Limestone Coast of South Australia. With multiple centre pivot irrigation systems and large-scale commercial and seed potato programs, we require an experienced and hands-on Potato Farming Production Manager to lead and manage the potato division of our business.

About the role

This is a senior production role with full responsibility for crop execution, irrigation management, harvest coordination and workforce supervision.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of commercial and seed potato growing
• Managing centre pivot irrigation systems
• Fert spreading of potato sites
• Planning and co-ordinating harvest timing
• Supervising field staff and seasonal workforce

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in large-scale irrigated potato production OR Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy or related field
• Demonstrated experience managing centre pivot irrigation systems
• Strong commercial potato cropping experience
• Experience in planting, cultivation and harvesting operations
• Fertiliser spreading and fertigation experience
