About the role
The Area Manager is responsible for leading sales performance, operational excellence and people capability across their designated area. This senior leadership role ensures alignment between financial outcomes, customer growth, safety performance and the consistent execution of Elders’ regional and national strategies.
Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the regional business plan, including sales targets, client strategies, growth opportunities and key operational priorities
• Lead execution of the regional sales strategy within the Area, ensuring alignment with category, retail and product plans
• Lead Area‑wide customer growth strategies, including identifying new market opportunities
• Achieve sales and earnings targets across the area
• Provide leadership oversight across Branch operations, ensuring consistent application of company policies, operational standards and compliance frameworks.
• Champion adoption of digital tools, systems and data insights across the Area
Education / Experience / Skills
• Full unencumbered driver’s licence
• Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (ideal)
• Experience in a sales-led organisation and/or agricultural industry
• People Leadership: Significant experience leading a geographically dispersed team
• Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to drive revenue, margin and growth outcomes through disciplined sales leadership
