About the role

This position is established to develop, maintain and support our clients, through the provision of high-class customer service and high product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities
• Sale of company’s range of products in the nominated territory at or better than required minimal acceptable margins
• Work with the customers to ensure their accounts remain within Trading Terms
• Develop new Clients and maintain existing client base
• Provide a high standard of customer service to all clients
• Maintain high standard of product knowledge
• Maintain sales targets as established in conjunction with manager

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer rapport and confidence
• The ability to communicate effectively with farmer clients, colleagues and other personnel who may come in contact within the performance of your duties
• Competency in the use of spreadsheet and word processing programs
• Effective time and self-management skills
