About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for leading and managing fertiliser operations, including purchasing, production, sales support, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations while contributing to the overall performance and growth of the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: Oversee fertiliser sales and production
• Team Management: Lead and coordinate staff
• Customer Service: Ensure high service levels
• Stock & Financial Management: Manage inventory and pricing
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain WH&S and accreditations
• Sales Contribution: Support sales opportunities
• Process Management: Ensure accurate internal systems

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Experience in fertiliser operations, production, or agricultural inputs
• Strong leadership and team management capability
• Sound understanding of stock control and operational processes
• Good communication and customer engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and show initiative
• Competent computer and system skills (stock management experience desirable)
• Knowledge of the rural sector
• Ability to train the trainer
