About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Livestock Manager to join the Heartland Bank Australia team for QLD. This role can be based out of regional QLD or within the Brisbane location.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Regional Livestock Manager to grow our livestock finance business and build strong industry relationships.
Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)
• Develop and grow relationships with private livestock agencies
• Identify and convert corporate and large-scale business opportunities
• Build and manage broker and referral partner networks
• Deliver tailored pitch presentations to clients and partners
• Respond to direct enquiries and convert new business opportunities
• Prepare credit submissions and support lending decisions
• Manage ongoing customer relationships and conduct on-site visits
• Monitor portfolio performance, including arrears and compliance
Education / Experience / Skills
• Strong experience in agribusiness, livestock or commercial lending
• Proven ability to generate new business and build relationships
• Strong networks across livestock agencies, brokers or rural sectors
• Commercial acumen with sound risk awareness
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-driven, outcomes-focused and comfortable working autonomously
