About the Company

Our client is a leading farm-to-table producer of world-class walnuts, pecans, macadamias and almonds, managing quality from growing and processing through to marketing.

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the safe and efficient operation of the Alloway processing facility, coordinating production, people, maintenance and compliance while supporting ongoing factory development.

Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)

• Plan and manage production to achieve on-time delivery, efficiency and effective crop and labour utilisation
• Monitor key performance metrics, production schedules and resource requirements
• Forecast production needs and ensure adequate people, packaging and consumables
• Coordinate offsite processing and ensure maintenance issues are recorded and addressed
• Maintain timely quality, safety and operational reporting and follow-up actions

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar food manufacturing role
• Demonstrated experience with machinery in a food manufacturing environment
• Macadamia nut production experience highly desirable
• Forklift Licence desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving and people management skills
